More than a decade after its original release, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced reappears aiming to revisit one of the franchise's most iconic stories with profound improvements and more content. The remake arrives with significant changes, both technically and in how you interact with the world around you. What is the story of the game?

The narrative is set between 1715 and 1722, during the so-called Golden Age of Piracy. You follow Edward Kenway, a Welsh privateer who becomes involved in a conflict far greater than he imagined. Throughout the plot, well-known historical figures appear, such as Blackbeard, Anne Bonny, and Charles Vane. The storyline mixes personal ambition, political disputes, and the eternal conflict between Assassins and Templars.

Despite being a remake, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced expands upon parts of the story with new scenes, additional dialogue, and more depth for secondary characters. 

However, one of the most improved aspects is the combat system. Now, there is greater fluidity in actions, focusing on counter-attacks, quick sequences, and strategic use of weapons.  Stealth has also received important adjustments. It is now possible to crouch freely and activate the so-called Observation Mode, which improves awareness of the surrounding environment. This allows for better planning of each movement before acting.

Furthermore, failing in certain situations no longer automatically results in a restart. Instead, you can adapt your approach and continue with the mission in a different way.

High-sea battles remain a central focus, but with new additions. The Gralha ship has gained more customization options and new features that directly impact combat.

In Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, you can recruit officers with specific roles, as well as equip weapons on board your ship. There are also lighter elements, such as the possibility of having a pet on board. The water physics have been modernized, making crossings more natural and naval combat more intense.

Finally, movement through the environments has also been improved. Edward now moves more quickly and naturally, with new animations that make parkour more fluid. Chained jumps, fast descents, and the use of zip lines help to improve locomotion, especially in urban areas.
