Battlefield 6 Season 3 arrives with ranked matches, classic maps, and more
Battlefield 6 reaches a new milestone in its history with the debut of Season 3, which launches with brand new content and significant changes to gameplay. Electronic Arts officially unveiled the new features during a special event, highlighting a robust package of updates that includes new modes, revisited maps, and the highly anticipated ranked system. All of this arrives in a phased structure. See the details below!

Season 3: Warlords Supremacy in Battlefield 6
The opening of Battlefield 6 Season 3, dubbed Warlords Supremacy, arrives with a bang right from the premiere, scheduled for May 12th. This initial phase focuses on more direct disputes in domination modes, with matches that value positioning and reading the environment.
Furthermore, the arrival of the ranked system in Battle Royale RedSec marks an important point within this Battlefield 6 update. The competitive structure now features progression divided into levels ranging from beginners to higher tiers, including a group reserved for the best-ranked players. On-field performance becomes crucial, taking into account eliminations, team support, and the final result of matches. Electronic Artshas reinforced that adjustments will be made over time, based on feedback from the Battlefield 6 community.
Ranked matches in Battle Royale RedSec
One of the most talked-about aspects of this Battlefield 6 update is the inclusion of ranked matches in the free-to-play RedSec Battle Royale mode. This new feature opens up opportunities for more intense matches, where every decision directly impacts a player's position in the global ranking.
The system features well-defined divisions, starting at entry levels and progressing to higher categories, with a focus on the top 250 players. Rewards include exclusive visual items, personalized badges, special titles, and experience bonuses.
The first phase also marks the return of a classic Battlefield 4 map, now reinterpreted as Railway to Gold Metal within the Battlefield 6 universe. The setting is Tajikistan, with expanded areas that include villages, farms, and industrial structures.
The map has undergone a significant expansion, with new routes, greater verticality, and more active airspace. In addition to the map, three weapons are added to the arsenal in this phase of Battlefield 6:
- M16A4, assault rifle with burst fire capability and the ability to convert to automatic mode
- L115, a precision rifle designed for long-range combat
- RPK-74M, light machine gun with large ammunition capacity
Second phase: Blast Point in Battlefield 6

The second stage of the season, called Blast Point, arrives on June 9th and brings the atmosphere of Battlefield 6 to even more intense confrontations. One of the highlights is the return of the Obliteration mode.
In this mode, teams must capture devices and advance against enemy targets while defending their own areas. This dynamic reinforces the importance of coordination between players in Battlefield 6, as every movement directly affects the course of the match.
At this stage, the Cairo Bazaar map , inspired by Battlefield 3 scenarios, is also introduced. The tight urban environment favors close-quarters combat, ambushes, and battles for strategic points in the game.
Among the new weaponry is the PP-19 submachine gun, designed for close-range combat, as well as the RF Jammer gadget, capable of interfering with enemy electronic equipment.
Final High Value Target event in Battlefield 6
The final phase of the season, called High Value Target, concludes the cycle of new features for Battlefield 6. In it, players undertake specific missions, such as eliminating selected opponents or destroying strategic vehicles.
Upon completing these tasks, exclusive rewards are unlocked, including skins, emblems, and even new melee combat options. This format makes new goals available within Battlefield 6. The game concludes with Tactical Obliteration mode, which reduces the number of participants and increases the tension level of the matches.
Battlefield 6 Season 3 features a packed package of new additions, with well-defined stages, the return of classic maps, the inclusion of familiar weapons, and a ranked system. It's definitely worth checking out!
