FIFA Heroes is announced for consoles and mobile devices
FIFA surprised fans once again with the announcement of FIFA Heroes, a project that promises to innovate the way football lovers interact with digital sports. Presented to the public through a concept trailer, the launch is scheduled for 2026.

The trailer revealed a bit about the actual gameplay, focusing on images of people playing soccer in different urban environments. However, the developer, Enver Studio, made it clear that the game will feature 5-a-side matches.
A mix of athletes, mascots, and fictional characters
The big difference with FIFA Heroes is the possibility of forming teams with famous athletes, fictional characters, and mascots that have marked FIFA's history. According to Christian Volk, FIFA's director of gaming and esports, the intention is to allow fans to create teams that blend reality and fantasy, attracting both veteran players and new audiences.
The project includes official mascots from host countries, such as Maple (Canada), Zayu (Mexico), and Clutch (United States). Each mascot will have special abilities and moves, promising fun and unexpected moments during matches. According to FIFA, new mascots of this type will be revealed in the future, maintaining fan interest over time.
Game modes
FIFA Heroes will feature traditional multiplayer modes and a PvE mode. In the latter, it will be possible to lead a club through a series of matches with increasing difficulty, completing specific objectives that will test the user's strategy and adaptability.
Kyle Joyce, director of Solace, explained that the idea was to transform the passion for soccer into a fun digital format, maintaining the speed, drama, and rivalry that the sport carries. The goal is to create an experience that evokes emotion without relying on long hours of training or complicated rules.
The nostalgic appeal and the fun
For many fans, FIFA Heroes is not just a new game, but a way to relive memories of older FIFA franchise games. The inclusion of iconic mascots and characters creates an emotional connection, allowing the user to relive memorable football moments in a playful and interactive way.
The mix of athletes, mascots, and fictional characters also serves to present football in a different way, appealing to a younger and casual audience, while also offering something interesting for long-time fans. The idea is that each match should be unpredictable and fun, without needing to resort to complicated mechanics.
Where will FIFA Heroes be available?

The release of FIFA Heroes is confirmed for next-generation consoles such as PlayStation and Xbox, as well as Nintendo Switch and mobile devices with iOS and Android. The absence of a PC version has generated speculation among fans, but so far there is no official information about this possibility.
Meanwhile, it's possible to take advantage of daily deals, such as purchasing the physical copy of EA Sports FC 26, discounted DualSense controllers, and special promotions for PlayStation 4 and 5.These opportunities show that interest in digital football remains high and that fans are ready to experience new forms of entertainment.
Although the trailer didn't show any actual gameplay footage, the expectation is that the arcade style allows for quick actions and strategic decisions, making each game different from the last. This reinforces the promise of immediate fun, without the need for lengthy tutorials or hours of practice.
