What is the purpose of the Conduit Crystal in Subnautica 2?

In Subnautica 2, the Conduit crystal serves as the raw material for various upgraded equipment. Without it, some important upgrades simply won't be available at the Modification Station and Fabricator.

Among the most valuable items made with this material, the Bioscanner stands out. This tool unlocks deeper analyses of Axum technologies and Protean life forms scattered throughout the ocean. Based on these analyses, the player unlocks special biomods capable of releasing passive bonuses and extra abilities during survival.

After visiting the Little Alien Ruin, continue heading northeast. Soon you will find a huge underwater crater. This area houses anAngel Comb. Nearby are also glowing blue pillars surrounded by units of the resource.

Many players consider this region one of the best for obtaining the Conduit crystal in Subnautica 2, especially after unlocking more durable exploration equipment.
