The Brazilian Championship in FC Mobile officially marks the return of licensed Brazilian players to the EA Sports franchise after a long absence. On February 5th, Electronic Arts added 22 Série A athletes to EA Sports FC Mobile, the free version available for Android and iOS. The official return of the Brazilian Championship on FC Mobile

The Brazilian Championship returns to FC Mobile represented by two clubs: Bahia and Botafogo. Each team received 11 licensed players , forming practically a complete starting lineup within the game. These players can be used in My Team mode, in addition to appearing in the Draft and the Market starting with the "Ginga" event.

This return ends a nearly 11-year gap without licensed Brazilian athletes in the franchise. Since FIFA 16, national clubs have featured generic players due to contractual issues related to image rights. Now, with the Brasileirão in FC Mobile, the squads will faithfully reflect what fans see on the field.

Brazilian law stipulates individual negotiations with each player. This means that the developer needs to close separate contracts with hundreds of athletes to assemble complete Serie A rosters. In other countries, leagues have centralized agreements through entities that manage rights collectively, which simplifies the process.

The return of the Brazilian Championship to FC Mobile could pave the way for a greater presence on consoles and PC. Reports indicate that Electronic Arts is negotiating with Brazilian clubs that will compete in the 2026 Copa Libertadores. Among those mentioned are Flamengo, Palmeiras, Corinthians, Cruzeiro, Mirassol, and Fluminense, in addition to Bahia and Botafogo, which already appear on mobile. Santos is also reportedly in negotiations to return to the franchise.

As is the case annually, the game is usually updated with the teams that have qualified for the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana between March and April, when the group stage begins.
